On my first visit on a Monday morning in September, there were only surfers in the waters, no swimmers or paddlers when. Again on my second visit in January, it was a particularly windy day and only daring surfers entered the waves.
This small cove has a sandy beach with a grass area at the back. Facilities at the beach:
- Cafe with outside seating
- Large toilet and shower block
- Life Saving Club
- Life Guard tower
- Clean sandy beach
- Surfing waves
- Playground
- BBQ and covered picnic tables
